Karnali River

Karnali River is the longest river in Nepal. Similarly, in India, it is called the Ghaghara river. The length of this river is 1,080 km. Furthermore, Karnali flows through the Himalayas in Nepal and joins the Sharda River in India. Furthermore, it lies in between the mountain ranges of  Dhaulagiri in Nepal and Nanda Devi in Uttarakhand.

Koshi River

Koshi river is the 2nd longest river in Nepal with a length of 729 km. It is also called Saptakoshi in Nepal. Its is named Sapta Koshi because of its 7 upper tributaries. The tributaries include Tamor river, Arun river, Sunkoshi, and so on. Likewise, it crosses into northern Bihar and joins the Ganges in Katihar district.

Gandaki River

Gandaki is the deepest river in Nepal. Narayani rivers another name of this river. Similarly, the length of the Gandaki is 630 km. Gandaki is also called Sapt Gandaki because of its seven tributaries. The tributaries include Kali Gandaki, Trishuli River, Madi, and so on.

West Rapti river

Bagmati River

Bagmati River has a religious belief and is known as the holy river. It lies in the Bagmati Zone of Nepal with a length of 597 km. Likewise, Bagmati has been mentioned as Vaggumuda in Vinaya Pitaka. Sarda River

Kamala River

Bheri River
