CEE Exam and Marking Pattern:

  1. Firstly, for passing in the Common Entrance Examination one needs to be in a minimum of 50th percentile. Also,note that it is 50th percentile and not 50% marks. In conclusion, understand that half of the students appearing for entrance exam will be in the pass list.
  2. For every right answer 1 mark is provided while for every wrong answer 0.25 is deducted which means there is negative marking.
  3. Is CEE required for studying MBBS Abroad? YES!! In order to study abroad one needs No Objection Certificate(NOC) from Education Ministry. Additionally, in order to obtain NOC passing Common Entrance Examination is a must.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Entrance Exam in Nepal:

1. Firstly, passed 10+2 Science or equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with 50% aggregate in total marks or GPA 2.4
OR
Secured the Percentage equivalent to above eligibility in regards to the certificate level programs (A Level) with different grading system
OR
2.a. Secondly, applicants who have passed the Health Science Proficiency Certificate Level /Diploma (General Medicine, Medical Lab Technology, Ophthalmic Science, Dental Science, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Radiography, Physiotherapy) containing Physics, Chemistry and Biology with Certificate of Equivalence to Grade 12 Science program from National Examination Board AND
b. Secured at least 50% aggregate in total marks both in Diploma and the Examination for equivalence AND
c. Also, registered in Nepal Health Professional council or Nepal Pharmacy Council or Nepal Ayurveda Council as per related educational program.
